A football stadium is no longer just a place to watch sports. Located forty miles south in Arlington, the AT&T Stadium, home to America’s iconic football team the Dallas Cowboys, is a civic and cultural center. Housed at its core is the newly renovated Stadium Club, a premiere dining experience. By transforming an empty space on the ground floor, we created the ultimate upscale, ‘tailgate’ experience. Immersing fans in the Cowboy way of life, the 19,000-square-foot restaurant has 20 flat-screen televisions as well as historic memorabilia in glass displays throughout the restaurant. Through different seating types, layering technology at strategic points, and creating nodes, we designed a clean and refined space that expands and contracts depending on traffic. Whether visitors are grabbing a bite after touring the stadium’s collection of museum-quality art or members are reserving tables for an exclusive game day meal, the Stadium Club offers an unparalleled sports fan experience.
Inspired by the high powered lights of the stadium, groupings of large dome lights greet sports fans as they enter the space. The central bar is highlighted by hidden accent lights behind the screens showcasing the bottle display and beer taps. Dramatic uplighting was utilized on the perimeter to give warmth and impact to the space while concealed accent lights dramatically highlight the museum quality vitrines throughout. An impactful play of reflective metal and concealed LED light ribbons creates a dynamic light art piece lining the sculptural Star feature wall. Using simple light elements, custom detailing, and purposeful placement of reflective materials and light, an elevated tailgate experience is realized for this iconic brand and location.
A go-to restaurant with an ease of a sports bar, the Stadium Club is flexible for a casual night out, a business lunch, or a perch for watching the big game.
