Located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, Ocean Prime NYC is a modern American supper club that evokes a timeless elegance with warm woods, captivating lighting and a welcoming, sophisticated atmosphere. Spanning 7,400 square feet and a 2,500-square-foot mezzanine, the restaurant seats more than 275 guests and features private dining rooms to accommodate more intimate gatherings and celebrations.
Inspired by the golden age of Manhattan construction, the design marries raw materials with polished details. Upon entering, guests step into the bar and lounge, which resemble a jewel box with an architecturally detailed marble bar. A sleek wood screen at the back bar divides the dining room and lounge, offering peek-a-boo views between the two spaces. Custom molded Formglas coffered panels mimic the look of a waffle concrete slab and accentuate the low, cozy space.
Stepping into the soaring main dining room, guests are immersed in a sultry space surrounded by inward facing nooks, glowing wine walls and the feature staircase up to the dining mezzanine. Herringbone wood, polished plaster and fabric wrapped columns further enhance the floor to ceiling fusion of the raw and highly polished aesthetic. Custom New York City-inspired artwork, by local commissioned artists including Rachel Libeskind, Pablo Jansana and Franck Bobbot, adorns the walls.
