When you’re at Villa, a tiny lounge in LA, it’s almost like you’re inhabiting a myth. With bizarre nooks and crannies, Villa calls to mind a weird uncle’s home in a just-as-weird destination, like Marbella. You can easily imagine that this Uncle used to be a producer — there are props and collections everywhere. Every time you go, you find something new, and while at first look Villa seems old, it references all the stuff you grew up with. And the space is completely immersive – you lose yourself in the charm of it all. For us, Villa is a metaphor for surrealism.
